Born and raised in Minnesota, Catherine is thrilled to be back home and part of the Hiawatha team, after a spell on the East Coast.  Catherine earned her undergrad at the University of William & Mary in Virginia, and her M.A.T. at American University. She is a Teach for America alum and taught first through fifth grades in Washington, D.C. Catherine also enjoyed several years of teaching teachers at Relay Graduate School of Education in New York City. She is excited to be a part of the Hiawatha team supporting students, families and teachers in achieving and exceeding their goals.

Alex Trevino is an Assistant Principal at Hiawatha Leadership Academy-Morris Park. Previously, Mr. Alex taught fourth grade.  Before coming to Hiawatha Leadership Academy-Morris Park, Alex taught fourth and sixth grades in north Minneapolis as a Teach For America corps member.  Alex enjoys working with all students, families, and teachers to make Hiawatha Leadership Academy-Morris Park a place where everyone feels welcomed, affirmed, and supported in reaching their hopes and dreams.

Linde Grubb
Director of Operations

After working for operations teams in higher education and non-profit companies in Virginia, Linde Grubb relocated to Minnesota to become the Director of Operations at Hiawatha Leadership Academy-Morris Park. She joins the team with a degree in Biomedical Ethics from the University of Virginia and a Master’s in Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Having taught eighth grade science in St. Louis early in her career, Linde is thrilled to re-enter the education space and continue to interact with students and teachers. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Brad.
